Persons or Organizations can apply for membership to the Illinois Manufactured Housing Association (IMHA) by submitting an online application.  After an application is submitted online, it is forwarded to the IMHA Membership Committee for review.  The Membership Committee then makes a recommendation to the full IMHA Board of Directors for final consideration.  New IMHA members must be approved by two-thirds of the members of the IMHA Board of Directors (present at a duly constituted meeting of the Board of Directors).

DUES 

Manufactured Home Communities:
$1.25 per site (For 1st community only) Annually
  • $150.00 minimum
  • $1,250.00 maximum
  • Dues for owners with multiple communities will be based on the number of sites in their largest manufactured home community, with a charge for each additional manufactured home community of: $100.00.
Manufactured Home Retailers:
$350.00 Annually
  • Retailer members must encourage manufacturers to pay floor dues on all homes at all locations. If applicant operates satellite sales centers, each will be charged: $100.00.

Home Manufacturers:
$350 Annually
  • Each manufacturer additionally to pay $75 per floor shipped into Illinois.
Financial Institutions/Insurance Companies:
$350.00 Annually

Manufactured Home Part Suppliers:
$350.00 Annually

Listing Firms:
$350.00 Annually

Installers, Service Firms and Transporters:
$350.00 Annually
  • (note: these three chapters have been combined)
Associate:
$200.00 Annually
  • This is a non-voting membership category. This category provides an opportunity for law firms, architects, engineers, accountants, retirees and other individuals, firms or corporations with an interest in the manufactured housing industry to join the Association. This category is only for persons, firms or corporations that do not fit into any other membership category.
Fundamental Concept:
For applicants with multiple entities (under common ownership), the business having the highest dues level must join the Association as the Full (voting) Member. All other industry-related businesses within that ownership umbrella will be charged $100. All conditions of membership must be met for an entity to join or remain a member of IMHA.
