Since 1949 the Illinois Manufactured Housing Association has represented the interests of those that are involved in the manufactured housing industry on a statewide basis. IMHA presents a strong and effective voice on industry issues before the General Assembly, local governments and regulatory agencies on the city, county, state and federal level.
The Association serves its membership in several important areas. Lobbying and legislative work is one vital function, along with an aggressive public relations program, and sharing state and national industry information.
Members of the IMHA come from every facet of the manufactured housing industry. The Association acts for the entire industry, rallying and serving all segments to deal most effectively with important issues and interests.
To accomplish our mission of representing a powerful, united front, IMHA's professional staff follows the directives of an annually elected voluntary Board of Directors. The Directors themselves represent all parts of the industry and assure that the Association works diligently for its members' best interests.
We urge you to become affiliated with IMHA, not only for the benefit of your own business, but also for the benefit for the entire industry. Join other community owners/managers, retailers, suppliers, manufactures, financial institutions, service companies, transporters, manufactured housing land developers and listing companies in an effort to advance the industry in Illinois.
