CDC PROPOSES EXTENSION ON EVICTION MORATORIUM

The CDC proposed an extension of the federal eviction moratorium that is set to expire March 31, POLITICO reports. The agency sent the proposal to the OMB for review Thursday, but a notice of the proposal on the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs website does not specify the length of the extension. The CDC first issued the moratorium on evictions in September, and the Biden administration extended it again in January.
